In MUR...
This week we will continue working on our science fiction unit by reading the novel Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix. We will be focusing on character traits, feelings and attitudes, how setting affects the main character, tracking plot, and touching on the big themes in the book.
The spelling homework is due this Friday, February 14th.
In MUM...
This week we are taking the second round of the OLPAs which are the practice MCA tests. We will also be taking the third interim of the school year on Tuesday and Wednesday. Based on the results, we will spend the end of the week reteaching any skills that overall were difficult for the students.
The homework packet is due Monday, February 17th because of all the testing this week.
In History...
This week we are continuing with the American Revolution unit. It is a longer unit so there will be an at home project that will accompany what we are doing in class. The due date is February 24th. We will take the 1-10 quiz on Tuesday the 11th, and the 11-20 quiz on the 24th.

This week we will be working on writing topic sentences.
