No homework this week!
This week we are continuing to work on fractions. We have covered equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators, and mixed numbers. This week we will continue to work on those skills, but also will learn about improper fractions and how to convert between mixed and improper fractions.
Even if your child works 5-10 minutes a night on facts they will be successful in class each day. Thank you for your continued support at home!
In History...
This week Mrs. Slavik's class will continue to read about Europe in the Middle Ages. We will be reading chapters 9-10 this week. I will be assigning the at-home project this week. We will also be having our first quiz on chapters 1-11 the Tuesday after break.
In Writing...
This week we will be writing friendly letters.
Read Aloud...
This week we will continue reading James and the Giant Peach.
